It seems you can’t go anywhere these days without hearing about Bill Abbott and his new Network. It all started when Bill announced that Chad Michael Murray would be hosting his new network. As you can imagine, there were a lot of responses from the fans about how they felt about the new Network and if they would be watching.
The long-awaited revival of the classic series “Melrose Place” is finally here, and it stars none other than the show’s lead actor, Chad Michael Murray. The new series, “Melrose Place: The Next Generation”—which premieres on the CW Network on Friday, March 8th—will focus on the experiences of 25-year-old Chad Michael Murray, who played the role of Dylan McAvoy from 1995 to 2006.
“Chad Michael Murray Show” will premiere on Lifetime, Sunday, June 27 at 8:00 PM ET/PT. The series will follow the life of lead character, Chad Michael Murray, as he balances his career as an established movie star with his new role as a married man and new father.
GAC Media has announced three big films that would premiere on GAC Family, their Hallmark rival network. Chad Michael Murray was cast in one of the first films released by the new network, which is led by former Hallmark Channel CEO Bill Abbott.
GAC Media said in a news statement that the new channel, with the slogan “Stories Well Told,” would debut on September 27. The network “will offer programming that celebrates American culture, lifestyle, and history with original holiday-themed, family-friendly movies and shows.”
According to a news statement published on LinkedIn, Abbott is establishing two new channels under the GAC Media banner. The Great American Country Family channel evolved from the Great American Country channel. The GAC Living channel evolved from GAC Media’s acquisition of the Ride TV network.
In ‘An Autumn Romance,’ Chad Michael Murray and Jessica Lowndes star.
“An Autumn Romance,” which premieres on Saturday, October 23 at 8 p.m. Eastern, stars Chad Michael Murray and Jessica Lowndes, as well as Dennis Andrews, Moni Ogunsuyi, and Michael Brown. The following is the movie’s description:
When Taylor Harris (Lowndes) loses her job in Seattle, she travels to Montana to see her brother Craig (Andres) and his wife Christine (Ogunsuyi) and quickly becomes engrossed in her brother’s efforts to save the Graff Hotel, which has been purchased by tech tycoon Joel Sheenan (Murray) and his associate, Ray Dixon (Brown). Joel’s plan to convert the once-quaint motel into an upmarket tourist destination has divided the community of Forest Ridge, Montana. Taylor embarks on a quest for a major historical event that would qualify the hotel for landmark status and prohibit the City Council from granting permits for its restoration, in order to preserve the property’s charm and her brother’s place of work. Taylor seizes a picture that has the ability to prove the property’s historical worth while also giving an important piece of personal history to the hotel’s future owner as the clock ticks down.
Murray has been shooting a Christmas movie with Cindy Busby called “Holiday Train.” It is unknown which network will broadcast this film.
In ‘Much Ado About Christmas,’ Susie Abromeit and Torrance Coombs star.
“Much Ado About Christmas,” starring Susie Abromeit and Torrance Coombs, will debut on Saturday, October 30 at 8 p.m. Eastern.
The summary goes as follows:
Haley is revered in her town of Winterstone in ‘Much Ado About Christmas,’ for acts of generosity ranging from administering The Hope Chest to leading the children’s chorus. Haley is also the daughter of Leona Lloyd, one of Winterstone’s richest citizens. Despite her down-to-earth attitude, Haley is financially secure as Leona’s only heir, knowledge she keeps from new love interest Claud, an artistic, hopeless romantic. Haley presents herself to Claud as ‘Haley Logan,’ the daughter of a single, struggling mother, a minor lie that complicates things when Claud and his team present Leona with an ad proposal that includes a picture of Claud’s new girlfriend…Haley! Secrets are exposed, relationships are strained, yet Christmas is approaching, and miracles do occur.
Michael Damian directed this picture, which is based on an original teleplay he created. Damian directed Hallmark’s “Christmas Waltz,” which starred Lacey Chabert and Will Kemp and debuted last year.
‘Christmas Time Is Here’ stars Dewshane Williams and Rukiya Bernard.
“Christmas Time Is Here,” starring Dewshane Williams, Ruikya Bernard, and Tom Pickett, will premiere on Saturday, November 13 at 8 p.m. Eastern.
The summary goes as follows:
‘Christmas Time Is Here,’ says the narrator. Nia Moore (Bernard), a successful small-town realtor, has her sights set on completing a large deal on a new resort for her client, Julian Parsons (Williams), just in time for the holidays. The only snag is that there is one. Regardless of how many homes in Pine Valley Nia shows Julian, he always returns to the one that isn’t for sale…the one that belongs to Nia’s widowed father, Patrick (Pickett). Patrick wants to sell the house and retire. Nia is the one who can’t let go of recollections of a happier period in her life when her mother was still alive and well at the resort. Julian understands Nia’s aversion to selling the house, but it may not matter. Julian’s impatient employer has arrived in Pine Valley, determined to complete the transaction before Christmas. Julian, facing the possibility of losing his job, devises a miraculous scheme to save Nia’s family’s resort.
Last year, Bernard got her first major part in a Hallmark movie when she appeared in “Christmas in Evergreen 4.” She posted on Instagram at the time:
I’m in a @hallmarkchannel Christmas movie as the lead!!! I wanted to say something meaningful about how far I’d come in my profession, but I couldn’t find the right words. So, let’s get started: Many #hallmarkies and fans have been asking when it will be my time to lead a love tale for years. As a dark-skinned Black actor who has worn braids or natural hair her whole career and has seldom seen other people who look like me on film, I can’t emphasize enough how crucial #representationmatters is when it comes to making your goals come true. In the spirit of paying it forward, I hope that my appearance in this film may serve as a little push to encourage some young up-and-coming actress who looks like me to think that she, too, can achieve success…
Williams has been in the Hallmark Channel’s “One Winter” trilogy of films.
According to Jen Lilley’s social media postings, she is also appearing in a GAC Family film called “Royally Wrapped for Christmas,” although the film has yet to be formally confirmed by GAC Family.
